Dear NDIS customer
As of 1 October 2024, the NDIS made major legislative changes to the scheme that may affect your purchase as well as our capacity to fulfill your orders promptly.
Obtaining NDIS and Planner verification that funding is available for your online purchase can result in long delays.
We are also seeing many more rejections by NDIS. One reason often given for the rejection is that the product is not eligible for funding.
Another major reason is that although the product can be funded by NDIS there are insufficient funds available in the correct budget line.
Medimart is acutely aware of how frustrating delays can be and we will notify you as soon aswe are advised by your planner whether your purchase has been accepted or rejected.
What can you do? Check with your Planner/NDIS Coordinator that the product is allowed by NDIS and that there are funds available in the correct budget line before placing a purchase order.
