Purpose & Benefits
The toileting sling has been designed to ensure dignified handling routines with easy and efficient access to patient’s clothing for dressing and undressing in connection with toileting routines. Careful resident/patient assessment is strongly recommended as the nature of this sling means there is less fabric to give support compared to a general-purpose sling and it may not be suitable for patients with poor upper or lower body tone. The DPS system allows the caregiver to position the resident/patient in the sling from upright to reclined with minimum physical effort.
