The Benoit Systemes Light Drive Plus 2.1 Power Add-On is the heavy-duty version of the popular Light Drive 2.1, engineered in France for users who require extra power, torque, and weight capacity. Fitted with four 130W motors that apply a friction drive to your wheelchair’s tyres, it transforms a manual chair into a fully powered system—controlled easily with one hand via a joystick.
With a top speed of 9.98 km/h and a travel range of up to 18 km on a single charge, this add-on is ideal for tackling rougher ground, hills, and longer journeys. Designed to support users up to 240 kg, it attaches and detaches in seconds without tools. Despite its robust performance, the unit remains portable at just 16 kg, and is available in a choice of 15 stylish colours to match your wheelchair.
