ProCair Quad Mattress Replacement System

Description

Purpose & Benefits of the ProCair Quad Mattress Replacement System

The ProCair Quad Mattress Replacement System is designed to provide advanced pressure injury prevention and management for individuals at high to very high risk. Its innovative 1-in-4 alternation cycle supports 75% of the user’s body during active therapy, enhancing comfort and therapeutic effectiveness.

Features

• HeelCair Technology – Features an independent heel zone with narrower cells that can be disconnected as required, offering increased protection and therapy for vulnerable heels.
• AutoCair System – Continuous automatic weight-sensing technology that adjusts pressure settings in real-time, ensuring safe and effective therapy without manual intervention.
• SafetyCair Design – Alternating air cells contain a lower safety cell that remains fully inflated, providing greater surface stability and preventing “bottoming out” for enhanced patient safety.
• Fowler Boost Mode – Automatically adjusts mattress pressure to provide increased support under the sacral area when the backrest is raised, enhancing patient comfort during profiling.
• BackUp Battery – Provides up to 3 hours of emergency backup power in the event of a power failure, ensuring uninterrupted therapy.
• CairAlert Feature – Optional warning alarm signal to indicate when a patient has exited the mattress or moved off the bed, enhancing patient monitoring and safety.
• Infection Control – Fully sealed mattress base designed to minimise the risk of bacterial contamination, supporting optimal infection control protocols in acute care environments.
• Safety Side Bolsters – Provide increased support and safety, particularly during active therapy sessions.
• Quick-Twist CPR Valve – Allows for rapid deflation of the mattress in emergency situations, facilitating prompt medical response.
• Cable Management System – Ensures cords are neatly secured along either side of the mattress, reducing the risk of trips and potential damage to power cords.
